Lesson 3: Writing Script. The battle of time management and creating content.

Last week was such a bustling week for me. In order to present the first draft of the podcast, there were various things that my team have to complete. Luckily, we have not met many troubles or any arguments in choosing the topic and planning the main story.

Our topic is a minimal lifestyle because it is suitable and trendy in modern society so we can grab the audiences’ attention. I am glad that every member is really active in teamwork, just by sitting together in a few hours, many interesting ideas already pop up in our mind. However, when you have large content with many details but the fixed time of the podcast is limited from 3 - 5 minutes, it is not easy to balance and as a result, our demo script was too long. For that reason, we asked our tutor for advice and with his recommendation, we used Text to Speech website as an effective tool to estimate the length of the script.

Then, although we do not want to but we decided to cut down some dialogues to entertain and concentrate more on the minimalism topic.
